Question by Jamie: How can I save money for holiday shopping?
i want to try to save money so i can give gifts to my friends and family.i tried to commit myself to buy presents/gifts for my family and friends but it didn’t go so well.i keep on buying little things that could’ve been towards presents that i would’ve bought for my family and friends.should i budget?should i write down the things i want to give and then add the amount so i know what to estimate it to?

I would take $ 30 out of your bank account for each person on your list ($ 30 because for some you will spend a whole lot more, and others you will spend a bit less… it evens out) now. Put it in an envelope somewhere and take it out when you go Christmas shopping. If you see something that you want to buy someone, just buy it and then take that amount out of the envelope (only that amount!).

Ok, so I go off to Florida for 2 weeks on saturday for my holidays and about a week ago I was speaking to an Americana friend of mine who said I’d get a lot of female attention because of my accent. Is this true? Will American girls like my Scottish accent?
